We were deeply involved in the creation of Oobje, a modern design brand that focuses on metal accessories. When Askon, a leader in the iron and steel industry, decided to enter the design sector, they approached us to help bring their vision to life. We collaborated from the early stages, handling everything from naming and logo design to defining the brand’s core identity. We aimed to create a contemporary, fresh aesthetic that would stand out in the competitive design landscape.

The name ‘Oobje’ is derived from the Turkish word for ‘object,’ with an added ‘O’ (means that in Turkish) to create a unique identity. This subtle linguistic twist aligns with the brand’s minimalist, modernist approach, allowing the logo to remain visually understated yet memorable. From the brand’s naming to its strategic development, we ensured Oobje had a distinctive presence in the design world. Unlike typical logos based on existing fonts, we crafted every curve and line from scratch, maintaining uniformity for a sleek, contemporary look. We also developed the brand’s slogan, “New Form of Metal,” which captures Oobje’s focus on innovative design in metal-based products. This slogan, paired with the brand’s unique icon, effectively communicates its forward-thinking philosophy.
Beyond branding, we provided extensive design consultancy, supporting Oobje’s design team in product development and overseeing the selection of the brand’s color scheme. These colors were intentionally chosen to enhance the aesthetic of both the products and visual assets. Our team also directed the styling for product photoshoots and developed the website’s overall design, ensuring that Oobje’s online presence reflected the same minimalist ethos. This holistic approach established a consistent and impactful brand identity across all platforms.
